One Final Diagnostic (Use This Ruthlessly)

“If an AI does 80% of my work tomorrow, why does the company still need me?”
If the answer isn’t:
- Accountability
- Judgment
- Trust
- Ownership
- Political or organizational gravity
Then the crisis has already started for that role.
No answer = no safety.
Stop Reporting and Start Owning
The offshoring lesson was brutal but clear: the survivors weren’t the ones with the best skills or fastest output. They were the ones who owned systems, absorbed risk, and held accountability.
AI follows the same script. The professionals who thrive won’t be the ones who master AI tools. They’ll be the ones who control what AI works on, who owns the consequences of AI decisions, and who absorbs the blame when things go wrong.
